my ex-colleague who announced her pregnancy the other day has just delivered her wee bairn - a boy - earlier today.
talk of which, where has my maternal instinct gone?
as enscribed by the letter b @ November 28, 2005 11:35 AM | someone's pingedyour most welcome Alice :)
as blahed by the letter b @ December 1, 2005 06:48 AMWhy thankyou, b.
as blahed by "Alice" @ November 30, 2005 08:03 PMfor displaying such maturity and level-headedness at such a young age your youngest is indeed a rare gem. can i also say that she's "blessed" to have you as her mum, Alice? :)
as blahed by the letter b @ November 30, 2005 01:47 PMCould be. All I do know, is that she is wonderful, and I'm not saying this as her Mum, but she tends to give 150% in everything she does.
as blahed by "Alice" @ November 30, 2005 10:04 AMmany thanks Alice, i'll pass on your best wishes to her. no, not that i was fretting; rather i was making a joke on my own expense not helped by my biological clock which has stopped ticking many moons ago :D
but i'll never know it may just happen anytime. i reckon that it's because your youngest was an orphan that it moved you to go that extra mile?
as blahed by the letter b @ November 29, 2005 02:45 PMOh congrats for your friend!
And don't fret over no maternal feelings. I have never had any maternal feelings for someone elses bairn, except when they handed my youngest to me in that Chinese orphanage ~ sometimes I feel I love her even more than my "own" kid.
