kinda expected

an email correspondence with a biz associate yielded many interestin gem's. especially about the jap's as she had lived and worked there for yonk's.

one of said gem's being the followin - reproduced without permission obviously - see emphasis:

...The reaction of some Japanese young women to tall blonde guys is well noted by Australian and American women working in Japan. A bit sickly- but the guys seems to enjoy it at first- after that they often get tired of it and prefer a more adult to adult relationship...

another common piece i hear very often also is that jap bird's usually prefer marryin their own kind after gettin tired of em tall blond bloke's. must have somethin to do with the language i reckon.

and this exact same scenario applies just everywhere else on this side of the blue marble.

i'd run away hollering in fear myself! i mean, what the hell were em japanese sailors doin in hawaii?! pearl harbor came to mind :p

jokes aside, methinks it's akin to how a brown-skinned bird [filipino, malay, thai, latina] would elicit response if a bunch of westerners who haven't seen such folk before in their entire existence. and em japs seem to be the only ones who go to extremes.

I remember when my oldest daughter was about five, we lived in Hawaii. My daughter had the blondest hair (largely due to the sun and sea from said Hawaii). I can remember being down on Waikki Beach with her and coming across some Japanese sailors. They started beggin me to take a piccy of my daughter with them (she was/is a beautiful girl). Scared my daughter at first. Finally, took their piccy. So somewhere in Japan is an old piccy of my daughter sitting in the middle of about 10 Japanese sailors.

What I was amazed at was that they were in such of awe of her. I think, even today, my daughter thought that they were nuts, ha.
