good lordy

a wee conversation about emigrating with me bro earlier this evenin revealed his preference for new zealand. and it's not just the wide open space down under.

guess wot it was that swayed him?

sheep.

my persuasion that wales has got more didn't quite convince him. no matter, i'd better stop makin jokes about sheep from now on.

aye i did give it a thought actually, settling down just outside a town surrounded by nothing but acres and acres of green land. still, the mother country [huh?!] has a stronger emotional pull. you know, since bairnhood days, enid blyton, peter rabbit, etc etc etc.

AU? you know wot wee islander's are like. they are like sheep, if their friends go to perth/sydney/melbourne/tasmania to set up strawberry/ostrich/koala [haha] farm, they also follow.

NZ would be good. At least better than over-rated AU (no offense to those from down under, it's just that some wee islanders have an obsession with all things AU) : )
