an email notification to my mate's netted a response from an ex-gaffer whom i didn't keep in touch with for many many many :: ad infinitum :: moons.
who asked if i've had already re-settled in the UK as he remembered me telling him i was wanting to. that was at least six yonks ago which, to be honest, i cannot recall.
would any of you's remember insignificant stuff yer mates told you about that long ago?
as enscribed by the letter b @ February 14, 2005 08:19 AMhmm. come to think of it, same goes with me. i remember the oddest bits and pieces best. but basic ones which i constantly remind myself to, i don't. which i must leave post-its so that i remember doing them.
as blahed by the letter b @ February 14, 2005 02:26 PMI end up remembering the oddest things; how a few of us were gathered round cooking, and one woman, twenty six years ago or more now, asked whether one washed carrots then peeled, or peeled then washed, and me and another woman both answered "before and after." Or how another woman's dh recommended she wear pleats, and the skirt I was wearing at the time.
Why those events would stick in my head and not numbers (as in how much rent we have to pay or whatever) I've no idea. But the weirdest litle things I recall.
