mayhem

yet another round of madness descends upon the workplace - it's the english premiership which is the cause.

and to consolidate their pole position as the bestest pan-regional broadcaster on this side of the blue marble, the workplace have come up with several new hourly and half-hourly premiership magazine programmes. in addition to the four or five existing ones.

that explains the new "cute" faces at production i saw lately.

sorry to disappoint you again Si, unless i bribe or charm (note: NOT seduce) someone at Engineering who does the magic link thingy, i don't think i could do much to help ye out there :(

Really B, I'm taking your advice. Also because I can't be arsed getting the new cable subscription. Can't you just hook us up with an illegal link so we can watch it for free like thousands of others?

nope, was told as such during one of the useless time wasting department "meetings" before we started on our schedulings. oh, and F1 also.

sampled what it is like only today - covered for a colleague who's in charge of the HK STAR beam - and my god, it's real boring.

honestly if i were you, i'd not subscribe to the service 'cos there won't be much ruggers to be broadcast - and they go according to the Programming honcho's fancy. BUT fingers crossed, who knows, they may bring in more of it given the autumn internationals this november eh :)

golf?? tennis?? weren't there any sports available?

as blahed by english @ August 11, 2004 10:55 AM

oh no, not another moaner! but i must warn you beforehand there will be loads of golf and tennis planned for the HK beams :D

i didn't realise who you worked for. now i know who to moan to next time under 12's BMX or over-50s badminton takes precedence over a perfectly good rugby match.

at least i have switched to now broadband here so i can still get espn/star tho, as i-cable have decided to show only bloody football and dump all other sports.
