this cockatiel, christened Baggio, learnt to sew after watching its tailor-owner. and because of its brilliant sewing skills, Baggio has not only become a hit with customers, but also earned a spot on a telly talent show.
certainly, Baggio has given an entirely new meaning to the words "bird brained". and i promise i'll stop using the fakey *bird@brain.co.wi addy from this moment onwards.

as enscribed by the letter b @ May 5, 2004 08:42 AM(a) it doesn't come as a surprise as baggio the cockatiel's owner has a faintly italian name.
(b) i seriously think chair-ner (channel) 5 or chair-ner i would come up with something like, "the wee isle's brainless pets who can speak singlish!" hosted by zoe tay, the chair-ner egg (channel 8) drama queen who can't even string a decent sentence in singlish. let alone english.
how the hell she could land an english-speaking pilot husband is beyond logical reasoning.
as blahed by miss mc.t @ May 5, 2004 10:12 AMOk. Two things.
(a) Some Italian footballer (who is currently playing for Brescia in the Serie A) will now find his "divine" name threatened by a cockatiel in the popularity stakes. It is now "Baggio the cockatiel who knows how to sew" and not "Baggio the footballer who missed a penalty in the World Cup".
(b) Coming to a telly screen near you (I hope not), the "Wee Island's Brainiest Pets".
